Mission & Values

We provide 24/7 confidential telephone crisis intervention for people in distress. 
Contact serves as an initial point of contact to the entire range of available community resources. All staff is trained to assist callers through personal crisis and difficulty.

Contact Helpline is here to provide emotional support, education, assistance and intervention, if needed, to all people in crisis. These services are available to those impacted by crisis or in need of a caring voice, with the goal of supporting community compassion, reducing self-destructive behaviors and preventing suicide.

Contact Helpline is a non-profit that recognizes and appreciates each individual’s importance. Our staff, volunteers, community members, and clients are survivors from diverse cultures and faith traditions, bound by the purpose of supporting others.

The love and passion we have for each other offers a balancing nature to a world that sometimes seems hostile and unforgiving. It is the meaningful relationships and invaluable purpose of providing life changing support that keeps me at Contact Helpline.
